It's my very first time at Stanford, the first thing I do when I get off the car is crying, then I do the tour with my husband and his sisters. We were at the Main Quad and I ask a student if by any chance she knew where the Huberman Lab was, and she responds: The podcast guy?  THERE IS NO RESPECT IN THIS WORLD!!!  I found her response funny, actually. Plus, we were not even at the School of Medicine and she knew who he was. Visiting Stanford was a dream come true. Thank you, God!

So I remember when we were driving, driving in your car Speed so fast, I felt like I was drunk City lights lay out before us And your arm felt nice wrapped around my shoulder And I, I had a feeling that I belonged I, I had a feeling I could be someone, be someone, be someone
"  I'm the problem, it's me  At tea time, everybody agrees I'll stare directly at the sun but never in the mirror It must be exhausting always rooting for the anti-heroe "

"I did it out of spite... And eventually

"I did it out of spite... And eventually it became clear that my spite didn't mean anything to you". Cersei to King Robert I love this phrase as it perfectly describes caring about someone who is indifferent to us: We try to catch their attention, or even worse, we try to show them we "don't care". If only we knew they are not looking... They don't even care we "don't care". When I finally learned this, I was able to learn the words "dignity" and "reciprocity".

Dopamine driving me to read a book about Dopamine. Recursion in action, I would say.
